0:04 · Settings: complete walkthrough
Let's set up Carvio for the way your dealership works. We'll go from the Settings menu to the actual saved values: business details, inventory and deal defaults, lead handling, tasks, appointments, email and connected services. The examples use fictional dealership information. Review each choice for your own dealership before saving it.
0:28 · Find the setting
Choose your name at the bottom of the application sidebar, then Settings.
Choose a section in Settings, or open Search settings. Type stock. The list now narrows to Stock Number Format. Choose that result to open the actual setting. Search can find individual controls as well as whole sections.
Change the search words, use the search field’s Cancel, or press Escape. Check your access and feature availability if a section is still missing.
0:58 · Change one section at a time
Wait for the section to finish loading. Read its description and the existing value. Dealership settings can affect other staff and future work; confirm the intended choice before entering it.
When Unsaved changes appears, choose Save to submit that section, or Cancel to restore its saved values. Some actions, including logo uploads and email lifecycle confirmations, have their own controls and save separately.
Wait for saving to finish, read any message, and inspect the value. If another section still has unsaved changes, finish or cancel that work separately. Reopen the section when needed to confirm the stored value; do not use a success message for one section as proof that every change on the page was saved.
Read the error and check whether your entries are still present. Fix a validation problem or connection issue, then try Save again once saving has stopped. Confirm the final value afterward.
On a phone, open application navigation, choose your name, then Settings. Close navigation if it remains open. After opening a section on a phone, choose Settings above the content to return to the section list. Finish or cancel your edits before leaving.
2:15 · Update dealership profile
Read the displayed dealership name and address. This page’s editable business fields are Tax information (H S T number) and Timezone. The displayed name and address are not editable through those two fields.
Use the dealership’s correct tax information. The fictional example changes the example ending zero zero zero one to the example ending zero zero zero two; it is a training value, not a tax number to copy.
Open Timezone and choose the correct city/timezone option, such as Eastern (Toronto). A timezone controls the local-time context used by dealership workflows; it is not a change to the computer clock. Check the selected value before saving.
Choose Save, wait for the result, and confirm the saved H S T number and timezone. Reopen Profile if the display is uncertain. Use the logo and phone guides for those separately saved sections.
3:15 · Update dealership logo
Open Settings , then Profile, then Add dealership logo or Change dealership logo beside the dealership name. Use an authorized dealership image, not a customer document.
Choose Upload logo or Replace logo, then select a P N G, J peg or Web P file under 5 megabytes. A transparent P N G is recommended in the dialog. S V G is not accepted. The training screen uses an approved sample image; upload your own dealership logo.
Allow uploading to finish and check the logo beside the dealership name. A temporary upload preview is not confirmation. If upload fails, read the error and use Try again when offered, or choose a valid replacement.
Open Change dealership logo, choose Replace logo, and verify the finished result after the upload. This action saves independently of the business-details Save bar.
Choose Remove logo, inspect the preview and explanation, then Remove logo to confirm. Keep logo returns without removing it. After successful removal, the profile offers Add dealership logo again.
4:27 · Manage dealership phone numbers
Phone Numbers contains directory contact numbers with a department. CRM Phone Number is a separate provisioned number for calling and texting inside the CRM. Typing a directory number does not connect that number for CRM messaging.
In Phone Numbers, change the existing number and choose the intended department, such as Sales, Service, Parts, Fax or Other. Check all digits before saving.
Choose Save and allow it to finish. The current editor can briefly restore the old local display after a successful update. Leave the section and reopen Profile to confirm the stored number before treating the task as complete.
The current directory editor displays Add Phone and row-removal controls, but new rows and removed rows are not persisted by its Save action. Do not rely on those controls to establish or remove a directory contact. Verify any attempted change by reopening the page and arrange the necessary correction through dealership administration/support. This limitation does not describe the separately managed CRM number.
5:36 · Release an existing CRM number
Choose Release Number on the existing CRM card. The dialog warns that the number may not be recoverable after release. Confirm a replacement/contact plan before proceeding.
Type the displayed number exactly, then Release Number. Use Cancel to retain it. Verify the unassigned state afterward; releasing the CRM number does not remove a directory phone entry.
6:03 · Find an available number
If no CRM number is assigned, choose Get CRM Phone Number. A directory contact number above it is not a substitute for this setup.
Local offers a recognizable area code; Toll-free offers a nationwide number. Read the current quoted price and listed SMS, MMS and Calling capabilities. The fictional 2 dollars local and 3 dollars toll-free quotes are examples, not a price promise.
For Local, search by City, Area code or Province, then choose Search. Area code requires three digits. If you edit the search, run it again before selecting a number. Use Show different numbers or a wider location when needed.
Select the exact available number. Check the number, its capabilities and the monthly quote beside Get this number. Choosing the number is a purchase action; have authority to accept the displayed charge.
Wait for the result. Confirm the saved CRM Phone Number, number type, monthly quote and status. If it is still pending or not Active, use the displayed status rather than assuming calling/texting is ready.
If purchase fails, read the inline error. The number may no longer be available. Search again or choose another available number, then verify the actual saved result.
7:25 · Set dealership working hours
Open Settings , then Profile and confirm Timezone. Then choose Working Hours. Operating hours and the local-time context should describe the same dealership.
For each weekday and weekend day, choose Open, Closed or By Appt. Open days have opening and closing times. By Appt means by appointment; it is different from ordinary open hours.
Check both times for every Open day. The example changes Monday’s closing time from 18:00 to 17:00 and makes Saturday By Appt, while Sunday remains Closed.
Choose Save, wait for completion, and read the selected statuses and times. Reopen the section if needed. Hours are also relevant when choosing business-hours-only lead handling and appointment availability; review those settings separately.
8:20 · Configure your website
Review Dealership Website. Enter the complete intended address, including https://. The example uses example dot com slash vehicles; use your actual dealership site.
A bare word such as “example” is not a complete website URL. Correct the form’s validation message, choose Save, and check the stored address.
Read Show ready-to-list vehicles only. Its description requires a photo, price, mileage, trim and exterior colour for available listings to appear. Incomplete available listings stay hidden until completed. The page explicitly says Sold vehicles are still shown; this switch is not a general hide-Sold control.
Save the section and reopen it to confirm the switch. This is a public-website completeness choice. It does not change a vehicle’s inventory state and is not a guarantee that another listing destination changed. Review the vehicle’s own public visibility and distribution separately.
9:22 · Choose stock number format
Open Settings , then Stock Numbers. Review Stock Number Format and its current choice. It applies to new vehicle entries; do not assume it renumbers existing vehicles.
Choose Manually, Sequence, Create Date, Purchase Date or VIN Length. For Manually, choose Auto increment on duplicate or Give error on duplicate stock number deliberately; check the actual entry result if the number is already used. Sequence assigns the next automatic stock number.
For Create Date or Purchase Date, choose the intended displayed date format. For VIN Length, choose 6 characters, 7 characters or 8 characters. Review the selected controls before saving.
Choose Save, then reopen Stock Numbers to confirm the selected format. The example saves Sequence. Check the stock value when creating the next vehicle; the guide does not promise a migration of existing stock numbers.
10:20 · Set inventory defaults
Open Settings , then Stock Numbers and find Default Vehicle Notes below the format controls. These are automatically added when creating new inventory, not a bulk rewrite of every saved vehicle.
Enter the intended dealership description. The example adds “Trade-ins welcome.” to the viewing invitation. Click outside the rich-text editor so the change is registered, then Save.
Reopen the section and inspect the text. Review the description on each vehicle before publishing; a general default is not a vehicle-specific condition statement.
Read Allow Manual "Sold" Status and its explanation before enabling it. It permits marking vehicles Sold without an active Deal when staff also have the required access. It is separate from completing a bill of sale.
Save the switch and check the stored result. A manually Sold vehicle is not proof of a completed sale document or recorded payment. Use the inventory-state guide to distinguish normal, Sold, delivered and archived work.
11:27 · Manage cost types
Review the list of cost types and distinguish built-in/system types from custom types. Use a clear name that staff will recognize when recording a cost.
Choose Add cost type, enter a unique category in Name, then Create cost type. The example uses Transport. A duplicate-name warning explains that duplicate labels split cost history; choose a distinct useful name instead.
Confirm the intended category appears in the list. The example adds Transport. Creating a cost type does not create a vehicle cost or an invoice.
Use the intended row’s rename action. Rename cost type warns that renaming affects every cost already recorded under that type on every vehicle. Enter the corrected name and Save only if that shared change is intended. The example changes Needs a name to Inspection.
Select only the intended custom categories, choose the deletion action and read Delete [count] cost types?. The confirmation says this cannot be undone: existing costs keep their amounts and other details but lose their cost type. Built-in System types are protected.
Confirm only if intended, then verify that only the selected types disappeared. Review affected cost classifications; deletion keeps recorded amounts/details but removes the selected category labels.
12:54 · Choose the printed form for each deal kind
Read Deal Defaults & Rules. These choices apply to new deal entries; they do not rewrite saved bills of sale.
Choose the available intended form in each group. The example uses Carvio retail form and Carvio wholesale form. A UCDA form marked Not available requires verified membership; follow the displayed verification contact instructions rather than assuming selection is enough.
13:22 · Set common fees
Review each fee’s name and price, Gas Fee and License Fee. The example changes Administration from 299 to 349, Gas Fee to 30, and keeps License Fee 59. Check how these entries appear in the actual deal before using them with a purchaser.
Choose Save and check the stored rows and amounts. Add Fee creates another default fee row; a row’s Remove control offers its own confirmation. Cancelling the section discards its unsaved fee edits.
13:56 · Review comments and guarantee defaults
Scroll down to the comments and dealer guarantee. Find Duration and Distance before changing the values. In Dealer guarantee defaults, enter Duration (days), Distance (kilometres) and Guarantee comments. The example saves 60 days and 3,000 kilometres with written engine/transmission wording. These defaults prefill new retail bills of sale for vehicles not sold as-is; the actual deal can change or remove them.
Remove defaults clears the guarantee defaults in the editor. Review the pending change and save only if intended; use Cancel to retain the saved defaults. This is separate from removing a guarantee on an individual bill of sale.
Enter useful standard wording, leave the text editor, then save that section. Read the final wording on each deal; a default comment is not a substitute for agreed transaction terms.
Read when this clause is used: the page says it is added when no extended warranty or gap insurance is selected. Enter the intended standard wording, leave the editor and save. Confirm the actual printed agreement and the protections selected for each deal.
15:08 · Set entry requirements
Enable Mandatory Purchaser Email if every deal must have the purchaser’s email before finalization. Save and verify the switch. Do not enter a made-up customer email to get around the requirement.
Auto-populate Mileage uses the inventory mileage as the starting distance travelled in a deal. Confirm the actual vehicle reading and unit for the transaction. Prefilled mileage is not a new verified odometer reading.
15:37 · Configure lead assignment
Review Lead Assignment. Manually leaves leads unassigned. Coordinator assigns new leads to one chosen user. Round-Robin uses a participant group. Changing the default is not the same as manually reassigning an existing lead.
Choose Coordinator, select the intended teammate, then Save. The example chooses Jamie Chen. Reopen the section to check both the mode and selected person.
Open the participant control, select the staff member and their Working days, then Add. Add at least two participants as instructed by the page. The example gives Alex weekdays and Jamie Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
Review the participant list and the page’s warnings. One participant is not enough to activate this rule. An uncovered day needs deliberate handling; do not assume the group covers the whole week.
Choose Save and reopen Assignment. Confirm Round-Robin, both names and their selected days. Use the lead’s own assignment controls for a particular existing lead, and review actual incoming leads after a policy change.
16:48 · Configure AI Assistant
Review AI Assistant Name, Personality, Custom Instructions and Language. These settings apply to AI-generated messages across the dealership; they do not enable every automation rule by themselves.
Enter the intended assistant name and choose the offered personality or a custom personality where available. The example keeps Avery and uses a warm, concise, professional tone. Do not impersonate a particular staff member without an agreed dealership practice.
Enter specific customer-facing rules within the displayed 1,000-character limit. Include only claims the dealership can support. For example, ask staff to confirm vehicle availability and financing details rather than promising an approval or an available vehicle.
Select the intended response language. The page explains that this is the primary response language even when the lead writes in another language. Save and reopen the profile to verify it. Review actual AI conversations in Inbox.
17:55 · Review automation before enabling it
Read Lead Automation and the three situations: When a new message arrives, When a rep is too slow, and When a lead goes quiet. Expand the situation you intend to change. Your team still needs to review conversations and complete the next human action.
The page offers Conservative, Balanced, Aggressive and Custom. Review a preset’s values before using them. In the current editor, choosing a preset alone can leave no Save action; do not treat that preview as a confirmed saved configuration. Choose Custom, make the intended edits, Save, then reopen and verify each value.
18:34 · Configure replies to a new message
Expand When a new message arrives. With its switch off, the salesperson responds manually. Turn it on only when the dealership wants an automatic reply, then choose the offered reply mode.
For a template, review Reply during business hours and Reply outside business hours. The page supports customer name, vehicle and dealer name. Keep the wording accurate: a receipt acknowledgement is not confirmation of availability, a booked visit or approved financing.
Use Add a delay to set the displayed waiting time. The example waits 5 minutes. Remove the delay when immediate handling is intended. Read the resulting sentence so the timing is clear before saving.
Open Cooldown & repeat prevention. Choose Wait a set number of hours, Wait for human response first, or Wait for human response, or until hours have passed. Set Minimum hours between auto-replies when shown. The example uses the combined choice with 4 hours. These controls limit repeated replies; they do not replace the human follow-up.
Choose the offered AI conversation mode only if intended. Review its after-hours choice and the fallback explanation shown when AI is not available or is not allowed after hours. Configure the AI Assistant identity, language and instructions separately; this page no longer offers a message-count limit.
Choose Save and confirm the stored switch, mode, templates, delay and repeat-prevention values. The main example returns to the saved template configuration. A saved rule is not evidence that any particular customer message was delivered.
20:18 · Set response expectations and escalation
Expand When a rep is too slow. The example gives reps 30 minutes to respond, reminds them at the 10-minute mark, and escalates after 60 minutes. “At the 10-minute mark” is not “10 minutes before the deadline.” Read the complete on-screen sentence for each value.
Under Business hours & team, review Only count business hours. When enabled, the page says the clock pauses while the dealership is closed. Confirm Working Hours and staff working days before relying on that policy.
If enabling Automatically reassign unanswered leads, add the intended eligible reps and review their displayed order. Use the reorder handles to adjust the order and remove unwanted people. The example lists Jamie before Alex. Check the text explaining the result; new-lead Assignment and slow-response reassignment are different settings.
Enable AI auto-reply on escalation only if wanted. That choice is separate from notifying a manager and from changing the assignee. Confirm the AI profile, messaging availability and wallet state before expecting an AI reply.
Save, reopen and check the times, business-hours choice, reassignment team and optional AI switch. Review an actual lead’s visible response status and next owner when monitoring the workflow.
21:42 · Choose quiet-lead follow-up
Expand When a lead goes quiet. Set how many days without activity should flag it as going cold and alert the assigned rep. The example uses 5 days and enables AI auto-reply on going cold as an optional branch.
Save the section and reopen it to confirm the days and switch. A going-cold alert is a prompt for staff action, not proof that a lead is lost or that an AI message reached the customer.
22:11 · Configure task escalation
Read Task escalation. The page distinguishes telling the assignee when a task passes its due date from telling a manager after the grace period.
Open Grace period and choose the intended interval. Choose the intended person under Escalate to. The example changes the period from 1 day to 4 hours and keeps Alex Morgan as the default contact.
A task’s own escalation contact takes priority over the dealership default. The page also describes the creator fallback and the case where that person is already the assignee. Review the actual task’s escalation contact instead of assuming every overdue task goes to the default person.
Save and reopen the section to confirm the interval and default contact. In the task itself, review due time, assignee, status and escalation contact; an already completed task is not new overdue work.
Task templates manages reusable work, including the existing Delivery example. Scheduling manages appointment types, lengths and quiet time. Use the complete task-template and appointment-settings guides for those workflows rather than changing escalation to solve a scheduling problem.
23:28 · Review the template library
Review the template name, category, step names, assignees and needs… lead time. Templates are captured from existing tasks, not built from a blank form here. Use Search templates to find one; clear a no-match search before assuming the library is empty.
Use the task’s overflow menu , then Save as template. Review what is retained and omitted, then find the saved recipe here. Use the focused Save as template guide for that workflow. Changes to an original task do not serve as a live editor for a previously saved recipe.
This library does not offer a direct template-content editor. Prepare the intended task/steps and save a clearly named replacement template, verify it, then switch the older recipe off when appropriate. Applying a recipe creates separate tasks; editing library availability is not editing those existing tasks.
The switch saves that template’s availability directly; there is no separate page Save bar for this action. Off removes it from the template picker while preserving the recipe and tasks already created from it. Wait for the saved switch state and verify it after reopening.
Choose Delete template and read the named recipe and number of steps. Confirming deletes that recipe and its steps; tasks already created from it are kept. Use Cancel to retain it. The alternate deletion example reaches No templates yet after its last recipe is removed.
24:59 · Manage library categories
Choose Categories. It lists used categories and categories not used yet, including categories that have no visible group on the library page. Category names organize recipes; they do not change the recipe’s steps or assign work.
Enter New category name, then Add. The example adds Handover. For a row, choose Rename category, enter the intended name and Save; Cancel retains the old name. The example renames the new unused category to Vehicle handover. If a name is already used, correct the retained entry rather than adding a duplicate.
Choose the intended row’s Delete category. Its confirmation explains whether templates use it. Confirming keeps those templates and makes them Uncategorised; it does not delete their steps or already-created tasks.
Close Categories and inspect the remaining recipe. The example is still present under Uncategorised with the same two steps. This result differs from the separate Delete template action.
26:04 · Distinguish search, empty and failed loads
Couldn’t load templates is a read failure with Retry, not an instruction to rebuild your recipes. No templates match… is a search result; clear the search. No templates yet explains how to capture the first recipe from a task.
26:20 · Configure appointment settings
Open your user menu, then Settings , then Scheduling. Read Unresolved appointments and Appointment length separately. They affect different parts of the appointment workflow.
Under Unresolved appointments, review Wait before flagging. It is the waiting period after a visit ends before an unclosed appointment is flagged. A change affects already booked appointments as well. Recording an outcome clears an eligible visit from Unresolved. Do not treat this control as the appointment’s length. In this example, change Wait before flagging from one hour to two hours. Open the value, choose two hours, then review Unsaved changes.
Under Appointment length, review the five types and their Length values. New staff bookings use the type’s suggested length until changed manually; online rescheduling uses the current type length. Saving a type length does not silently resize or move an appointment already booked. Open an existing visit to change it explicitly.
Quiet time before closing affects the times offered to customers online. Use the weekday selector in the Last start column to review a particular day’s preview. The weekday selector changes the preview, not a different appointment duration for each day. Check dealership working hours for closed, appointment-only or missing-hours results.
With the required access, choose Save to keep edited settings or Cancel to discard the unsaved edits. Recheck the resulting values. If only the opening-hours preview failed, read its warning; the appointment lengths can still save. If the appointment settings themselves failed to load, reload first.
28:02 · Connect dealership email
Review the available Quick Start and custom-domain choices. Quick Start uses a Carvio-managed address; using your own domain requires the separate D N S setup. Have authority to configure the dealership’s email identity.
Enter the intended dealership name/slug and inspect the previewed domain and email address before submitting. The example uses Carvio Demo Motors, producing the complete sales address shown here. Use the address generated for your actual dealership, not this training address.
Use a valid available name. For example, a leading hyphen is rejected. If the name is unavailable, choose another appropriate one rather than copying a different dealership’s identity.
Use the setup action and wait for the result. Do not assume setup finished just because the request started. If the page reports Setup failed, use the recovery guide.
Read the active email address, domain, package and setup/verification dates. Use the address’s copy control when needed. An Active configuration is not proof that a particular outgoing email was delivered or an inbound message was received.
29:16 · Pause, resume or release dealership email
Open Settings , then Email and check the address, domain and status. Do not apply an email lifecycle action to the wrong dealership/domain.
Choose Pause, read the confirmation and confirm only if the dealership intends to stop email sending and receiving temporarily. Pause preserves the setup so it can be resumed.
Verify Paused and the displayed explanation. Choose Resume when the same setup should operate again, then confirm the resulting Active state. Pausing is different from a Carvio-imposed suspension.
Use the setup’s Release control. Read what will stop working and type the displayed domain/confirmation phrase exactly. Use Cancel if unsure. Do not infer that pausing or releasing delivered earlier messages or removes someone’s copy of an email.
After a hosted Quick Start release, its chosen name stays reserved to the dealership and the released view can restore that setup. A custom-domain release frees its Carvio configuration for a new setup; review provider D N S separately. If changing packages, release the old setup before starting the new one.
30:30 · Prepare the domain
You need a domain or suitable subdomain your dealership controls, permission to edit its D N S records, and an existing-mail plan. If someone else manages D N S, give them the exact records from your Carvio screen. Do not replace an existing mail service’s records without understanding the affected address/domain.
Open Settings , then Email, choose the custom-domain path and enter the intended domain. The example uses mail dot example dot com, a training subdomain. Review the preview before submitting. An incomplete word such as “example” is not the intended full domain.
31:10 · Add the displayed DNS records
After submitting, read Three things to add and the D N S zone named above it. Copy the Type, Host / Name and value from your own screen as shown. The example records are deliberately non-working training values and must not be used on a real domain.
Create the displayed T X T sender-authentication record and C name bounce-return-path record. Copy Host/Name as shown for the named zone; do not append the zone again if the provider already adds it. Use the displayed T T L or the provider default where the page allows it.
Create the displayed M X record with its Host / Name, Mail server and Priority. The example shows priority 10. This routes replies for the selected domain into Carvio. Review existing email routing before changing an M X record.
32:03 · Verify the visible result
Choose Check now if the records are ready. The page also checks in the background and describes the expected propagation wait. A single pending result does not mean the entries are wrong; recheck exact spelling and the D N S zone before repeatedly recreating records.
Check the resulting status. The inbound record is confirmed after the first actual email arrives, as the page explains. Do not interpret “Awaiting first email” as a completed inbound test. Review an appropriate received message in Inbox after setup.
Use Cancel setup, read the consequence, type the displayed domain and confirm. The example returns to the setup choices. Review any D N S records left at your provider separately; cancelling Carvio setup is not proof that a provider record was removed.
32:56 · Fix dealership email setup
Check the current domain and status rather than inferring email readiness from a saved lead or conversation. Use the matching action below.
For Setup failed, read the explanation and choose Retry setup when offered. Wait and check the next visible status. Use the page’s contact route if it continues to fail.
For a degraded custom domain, read the warning, compare the current records with your D N S provider and restore the required entries. Use Check now after correction. Keep existing mail routing in mind.
A Suspended notice says email sending was suspended by Carvio and directs you to support. Normal Resume is not a bypass. Follow the displayed contact route and use an appropriate available way to reach urgent customers.
After recovery, inspect the email status and an appropriate sent/received conversation. Verify the recipient address and channel availability. A configured domain, successful save or sent-message request is not proof that a recipient read the message.
For a voluntary Paused setup, use Resume. For a released setup, follow its restore/new-setup path. Do not repeatedly retry D N S when the actual issue is a deliberate pause.
34:17 · Configure inventory integrations
Read each provider’s available service, active state and last-sync information. A Lead-capable provider offers a lead-source address separately from inventory syndication. Do not assume every listed service supports every direction.
Manual leaves incoming vehicles in the import queue for confirmation. Automatic applies feed updates on sync as described on the page. This is a dealership-wide intake choice; review the import queue and existing inventory process before changing it.
Select the connected source the dealership intends to prioritize. Read the visible description about overlapping feeds and missing details. The example chooses Carpages. Do not promise that any migration or every conflicting historical edit will be resolved by this setting.
Choose Save and reopen Integrations. Confirm the import mode, primary feed and actual service states. Review actual imported inventory or queue items separately; a saved setting is not proof that a provider has completed a sync.
35:25 · Connect a lead source email
Open Settings , then Integrations and locate the Lead-capable provider. Confirm the provider before choosing Add lead source. This setup is separate from your dealership’s outgoing Email address.
Choose Add lead source, then use that row’s Copy control. Enter the exact generated address in the provider’s appropriate lead-notification setting through its own authorized administration process. The training address is deliberately non-working and must not be copied into a live provider.
After the provider configuration is complete, review the resulting lead in Carvio and confirm the source/contact details. Creating or copying an address alone does not prove the provider is connected or that every old lead will be imported.
Choose the intended row’s Remove lead source and read the confirmation. Arrange the provider-side notification change before relying on a replacement address.
Confirm the address is gone and the provider offers its setup action again. Existing leads are separate records; do not assume removing an inbound address deletes their conversation history.
36:37 · Check the finished result
You now have a route to each Settings task and a way to check its actual saved result. Keep the written guide beside your work. It includes the individual steps, current limitations and the related task guides. Finish one change at a time, and confirm the value you intended before moving on.
Review the dealership identity

Section titled “Update business details”Enter the intended HST number
Watch 2:29Use the dealership’s correct tax information. The fictional example changes 123456789RT0001 to 123456789RT0002; it is a training value, not a tax number to copy.

Review the complete replacement HST value before saving. Select image to enlarge. Choose the dealership’s timezone
Watch 2:44Open Timezone and choose the correct city/timezone option, such as Eastern (Toronto). A timezone controls the local-time context used by dealership workflows; it is not a change to the computer clock. Check the selected value before saving.

Timezone offers named Canadian and US timezone choices. Select image to enlarge. Save and reopen to confirm
Watch 3:01Choose Save, wait for the result, and confirm the saved HST number and timezone. Reopen Profile if the display is uncertain. Use the logo and phone guides for those separately saved sections.
