0:04 · Billing & Wallet: complete walkthrough

Let's review subscription billing and the AI Wallet in Carvio. We'll check plans, effective dates, cards and invoices, then add funds, configure recharge and handle payment problems. The account, prices and payments are fictional examples. In your account, read the actual quote and have authority to accept the charge before confirming it.

0:28 · Open the correct billing account

Choose your user menu , then Settings , then Billing. Check the dealership/account name before reading or changing billing. Billing covers the subscription; Wallet is the separate pay-as-you-go AI balance.

Read the actual status, Next charge, date and Charged to card. Check whether the amount is before tax. In the main fictional example, Storefront 129, Lead 179 and Market Research 199 total 507 dollars a month before tax, with renewal on November 28, 2026. Use the quote in your account, not these example prices.

Read Your plan, the current period and any renewal/scheduled change. A removed feature can remain in the current paid period while a different plan is scheduled for renewal. Do not use a future subtotal as proof that today’s plan already changed.

1:22 · Review invoice history

Under Invoice history, check the invoice number, service period, total, status and paid date when shown. A card saved on file is not proof that an invoice was paid. The main example’s Demo one thousand one is Paid at 572 dollars and 91 cents, including its illustrated tax.

Choose View invoice to open the invoice or Download PDF for its document. An unpaid row offers the payment action shown. Check the invoice identity and amount in the secure hosted page before acting.

This is the separate overdue example, where an open invoice makes the Unpaid filter available. Use All invoices or Unpaid (1) to focus the history. A larger history can offer its displayed load-more control. Check the selected filter before concluding that an invoice is missing.

2:17 · Handle trial or payment attention

For Free trial, read the end date, first-charge amount and saved card. The example ends November 4. Features available during the trial and the paid plan afterward are described separately on this page; inspect the selected paid plan before the trial ends.

For Payment due · grace period, read Amount due and the deadline, then use its payment link when authorized. In the alternate overdue example, the previous month is paid and the current Demo one thousand two invoice is open. Saving a new card alone does not pay it.

Return to Billing and use Refresh billing status when available. Confirm the actual status, remaining amount and invoice. If the provider page was cancelled or the outcome is uncertain, inspect the invoice before attempting another payment.

3:08 · Change your subscription plan

Check the account and current plan, then choose Change plan. The editor explains that upgrades start now while removed features stay available until renewal.

Choose Records or Storefront as the base plan. Storefront includes Records. Add or remove the optional Lead and Market Research choices as intended. Check the full selected combination and wait for Updating total… to finish before reviewing the quote.

In the separate Records-to-Storefront example, the review shows 89 dollars for upgraded features, 11 dollars and 57 cents tax and 100 dollars and 57 cents Due today, with 129 dollars monthly subtotal at renewal. Those are fictional quoted results for this example, not a universal upgrade price. Read your own quote.

In the main example, removing Market Research leaves the current paid period at 507 dollars and schedules Storefront + Lead at 308 dollars before tax on November 28. Read Starts now, At renewal and Due today together so a scheduled removal is not mistaken for an immediate cancellation.

Once the quote matches the plan you intend, use the confirmation action shown. In this main removal example, confirm the scheduled change. Use Cancel if the quoted choice is wrong.

After confirmation, check the current plan, renewal plan, effective date, next charge and any new invoice. The upgrade example shows Storefront and a matching Demo one thousand two paid invoice for 100 dollars and 57 cents. A failed or incomplete upgrade payment must not be treated as completed.

4:52 · Manage billing cards and details

Read each card’s brand, last four digits, expiry and Default badge. Check which card is shown under Charged to in the billing summary.

Choose the intended card’s Make default action. Wait and confirm both the Default badge and Charged to summary. The example changes future subscription payments from Visa 4242 to Mastercard 5454.

Choose Add payment method when authorized. Enter actual payment details only on the secure hosted page opened by Carvio. Return and use Refresh saved cards to check the result if needed. The page states that new cards become the default.

Adding a card or changing Default does not pay an existing open invoice. Use the intended invoice’s payment action and confirm its paid result. Wallet auto-recharge also has an explicit Charge card choice; review that separately after a card change.

Check the current billing name, email and address, then choose Edit billing details. Make the authorized change through the hosted billing page and check the details after returning. This is separate from Profile’s dealership H S T/timezone fields.

If the hosted page was cancelled, do not assume a change was saved. Return to Billing, refresh, and inspect the actual cards/details. If the handoff cannot open, retain the existing setup and use the displayed error/contact route.

6:23 · End or keep your subscription

Read the current plan, trial/paid status and paid-through or trial-end date. Choose the corresponding End subscription or End free trial action only for the intended account.

Review the date through which access remains, the effect on staff sign-in, the website and listing updates, and the payment/refund wording actually shown for your account. Do not infer deletion, export or retention guarantees from the end action.

Use the confirmation’s Keep… button or Close to retain the current arrangement. The trial example explicitly describes access until November 4 and the charge consequence; read the actual trial confirmation before choosing.

If you confirm the end, wait for Billing and read the ending status and final access date. The main paid example keeps access until November 28 and offers Keep subscription before that date. It has not instantly become a deleted account.

Choose Keep subscription when offered and review the plan/renewal terms before confirming. In the example, the previously scheduled Storefront + Lead renewal remains the choice to review. Do not assume keeping restores an add-on you had separately removed.

Check that the saved status is active and inspect the next charge, date, selected plan and payment card. The main example is active again with the reviewed renewal plan.

7:52 · Open Wallet and read the balance

Choose Wallet in Settings, or Manage wallet , then from Billing. It pays for AI replies, drafts and summaries as the team uses them. The subscription and wallet have separate charges and records.

The main fictional balance is 92 dollars and 41 cents: 12 dollars and 18 cents Credits and 80 dollars and 23 cents Paid. Read each credit’s remaining amount, original amount and expiry. The example has a plan credit and a separately issued training credit; it does not promise those credits for every plan/account.

The page says credits are used before paid funds, with the soonest expiry first, and credits cannot be refunded. Add funds describes paid funds as not expiring. Review the current terms and the particular credit’s expiry; do not assume an expiring credit is permanent paid balance.

8:45 · Review current-period spending and activity

Check the period dates and the visible feature rows: AI auto-reply, Reply drafts and rewrites, Lead summaries and Follow-up suggestions. The example’s period total is 47 dollars and 82 cents. The “about…/day” and duration-at-this-pace descriptions are estimates based on the displayed period, not a future spending guarantee.

Scroll to Activity, then open a day such as Today to see its feature rows. The example’s Today row is 56 uses / 4 dollars and 12 cents. That day’s Balance is the balance after that activity, not necessarily the current balance after later credits or top-ups.

Choose the appropriate activity filter. Review dates, amount signs, payment card/credit source and historical balances. Use Show more when offered in a longer history. The current balance should be checked at the top of Wallet.

9:41 · Understand the zero-balance and access states

The page explains that new paid AI work stops while already-running work finishes. It lists the template fallback for automatic replies and the unavailable drafts, summaries and suggestions. Use the nearby Edit links to review business-hours and after-hours templates; do not assume a useful fallback is already written.

The alternate empty example shows 0 dollars and AI paused until the balance is above zero. An inactive subscription instead shows Adding funds needs an active subscription, with recharge paused and a Go to Billing route. The displayed reason determines the next action.

10:21 · Add funds to your wallet

For the top-up, we return to our main account. Check the account and current balance, then choose Add funds. If funding is blocked, follow its explanation and Billing route before attempting a payment.

Choose 50, dollars 100, dollars 250 dollars or Other. With Other, enter Amount to add and respect the displayed minimum. Check Card, Balance now and After this payment. The minimum in this example is 10 dollars; use your account’s displayed minimum. Here, five dollars is too low. The form keeps it unconfirmed and shows the minimum.

The main example adds 50 dollars to 92 dollars and 41 cents, with 142 dollars and 41 cents shown under After this payment. This is a preview, not a completed charge. Confirm that the card and amount are correct before choosing Pay.

Choose Pay 50 dollars in this example. Wait for the result. Keep the page open while it is working. If your bank requests approval, follow the approval action and then check Wallet on return; the bank/payment provider’s screen may differ.

After success, the example shows 142 dollars and 41 cents, with Credits still 12 dollars and 18 cents and Paid now 130 dollars and 23 cents. Open Activity and verify the +50 dollars top-up and intended card. The dialog states that the receipt goes to the billing contact.

If confirmation cannot be loaded, inspect payment status, balance and activity before starting another payment. Read the wallet-payment recovery guide. A preview, a button click or a browser return is not a successful top-up.

12:07 · Configure wallet auto-recharge

Read the saved Status, When the balance drops below, Add and Charge values. The subscription’s default card and an explicit recharge card are separate choices.

Set a valid threshold and an amount at or above the displayed minimum. The example chooses 25 for the threshold and 50 to add. Review the page’s explanatory sentence rather than inferring a charge from switching it on.

Select the intended saved card. The example chooses Mastercard ending 5454, then reads Recharge 50 dollars when the balance drops below 25 dollars. Nothing is charged now. This is a policy change, not a manual top-up.

Choose Save, wait and verify the saved values in Auto-recharge and the wallet summary. The example retains the current 142 dollars and 41 cents balance while its recharge policy changes.

Turn Auto-recharge off, then Save. Check the saved Off status. Existing funds are separate from the recharge policy; the example’s balance stays unchanged. Turning it on again restores the stored fields for review before saving.

Here is a separate failed-recharge example. A declined recharge shows its actual warning and Use another card action. Review the selected card and save the intended policy. An inactive subscription pauses recharge and disables funding; use Go to Billing rather than repeatedly changing the amount.

13:39 · Read the actual reason

The following are separate recovery examples, not additional payments to our completed main Wallet. Before another payment attempt, inspect the current balance, latest funding activity and any pending-payment notice. Distinguish an actual completed top-up from its preview.

For Adding funds needs an active subscription, read the notice and choose Go to Billing. The page says the balance and recharge settings are kept while funding/recharge is paused. Do not treat an inactive subscription as a card-number error.

Read the specific failure. For manual funding, choose another appropriate saved card or contact the bank. For auto-recharge, use Use another card, review Charge and save the intended choice. Check the final result rather than counting the click as payment.

14:29 · Complete a bank approval when requested

Choose Approve payment for the pending payment. Read the amount, card, Balance now and After you approve. In the example, 50 dollars would take 92 dollars and 41 cents to 142 dollars and 41 cents. The dialog says nothing has been charged yet while approval is required.

Choose Continue to Stripe to open the bank approval handoff when authorized, or Not now to leave it pending. Complete the requested bank step on that secure page. On return, check the actual Wallet status/balance; do not start an unrelated new top-up just because approval was interrupted.

Read the error and recheck payment status before retrying. The controlled example demonstrates an unavailable approval link and keeps the approval dialog available; it does not show a fabricated bank page.

15:23 · Recover an uncertain confirmation

If the connection fails or confirmation cannot be loaded, inspect status, balance and activity. Keep the same intended amount/card while using the existing payment retry/approval path. If the result remains unclear, resolve it through the displayed billing contact/support route before creating a different payment.

In the controlled retry example, the resulting balance is 142 dollars and 41 cents and Activity contains one 50 dollars top-up. Check your actual result and receipt; never infer a refund, duplicate-charge guarantee or delivery outcome from this demonstration.

16:04 · Check the finished result

The main example finishes with an active subscription, the reviewed renewal plan, and a Wallet balance of 142 dollars and 41 cents after one 50 dollar top-up. Recharge is saved as 50 dollars below 25 dollars on Mastercard ending 5454. The written guides let you jump directly to the next billing or Wallet task and check the result.

The card change did not pay an old invoice

Auto-recharge, manual wallet top-ups and subscription invoices are separate actions. Review the specific unpaid item.

A recharge did not occur

Read any declined, approval, inactive-subscription or Off notice and review the actual balance/payment activity. The duration-at-this-pace text is an estimate, not a schedule.

The policy still shows unsaved work

Use Save and confirm the final values. Cancel restores the saved policy.
